Location: In the small garden-park next to the Kumulus building, Herbenusstraat, Maastricht.
Materials: Carrara marble and Sardinian granite.
Text on the pedestal in Dutch, German, French and English: 'THE VOLUNTEER KEEPS THE WORLD TURNING'.

This monument had to be restored and placed in another location, after it was badly vandalised during the years 2007-2010.
